Remove Metro Availability

Before you remove Metro Availability:

  • Make sure to migrate all VMs off metro storage
  • Make sure there are no local snapshot on the metro storage

Remove Metro

  1. Login to the primary site and disable metro availability by clicking Disable.
  2. WARNING BOX:

Disable Metro Availability on * ?
Please update the DRS rules to have the VMs on the Datastore of the protected Storage Container to be on the hosts of cluster . Make sure all VMs have been migrated over before performing this action.

  1. Click the Yes Button
  2. Login to the secondary site and delete metro availability by clicking Delete.
  3. Type DELETE and click Yes
  4. Login to the primary site and delete metro availability by clicking Delete.
  5. Type DELETE and click Yes
