Remove Ghost LUN(s) on OpenFIler after an array failure or other issues

I am not responsable for any mistake that can made with this modification. I’ve tested it in a Lab environment. NOT PRODUCTION!

SSH into the Openfiler box:

password: The one you set when you installed the software

Edit file iscsi_settings.xml in: /opt/openfiler/etc/iscsi/targets

Remove all ghost target, only from tag <target> to tag </target> (included), not <targets></targets> tag!!

Save the file, and create a new target. Ghosts are gone.

If you want, make a backup of iscsi_settings.xml file before you make changes.

Worked for me.
