I started this blog as a place to put my answers to various questions I get asked as a System Administrator, VMware guy, network guy and storage guy. I’ll also use it for reviews, tips and tricks as well as scripts I find useful.
I’ve used VMware products in production since 2003 starting with ESX 3. I achieved my first VCP (5) in 2012, and I currently studying for my VCAP-DCA and VCAP-DCD. In 2011 I added VCAP4-DCA and in 2012 added VCP5-DCV and VCAP5-DCA. I’m also a CISCO CCNA, MCSE 2012, MCSA 2012, MCITP 2008 Enterprise Administrator, and a HDI Desktop Support Technician. Plus I slept at a home last night and it was great.
My main focuses will be virtualization and clouds including the tools to manage and the hardware required and Windows Server Administration. I will also document current and past projects. I have lots of other interests (R/C vehicles, motorcycles, farm life, and family) so I reserve the right to go off topic whenever I want.
