Training Resource

This is one of my first reviews.  I had the chance, thanks to Eric Wright (@discoposse), to try Pluralsight.com for 30 days. I had just reschedule my #VCAP-DCD exam 30 days from that day. I had already gone through Jason Langer’s (@jaslanger) #VCAP-DCD massive collection of documents. A couple day before I had calculated that I had spent about 180 hours read through that collection.  So when I got a trail to watch videos from known professional I decided to give it a chance. So I had the chance to watched “Designing VMware Infrastructure” by Scott Lowe.  The course had six plus hours worth of videos.  Scott if you are reading this, Thanks! It help me pass my #VCAP-DCD. He was in depth without violating any NDA agreements.

If you are studying for the any of the VMware VCAP tests this is a valuable asset.  During the #VirtualDesignMaster season the contestants were given 30 day trials as part of their arsenal.  They used the site and other documentation to master products and services that were needed to complete the tasks/design.

Cost

The cost for a 30 day subscription is $29.  The product is well worth its weight in GOLD.  They have well known experts in their field producing the video(s). Some of the presenters are peers I look up to. Chris Wahl and Jason Nash to name a couple. I hope to meet both of them in 2015.

We will meet again

My 30 day trial has since expired. My current finances will not allow me to pay for the subscription. We this changes in the near future I WILL become a member again.
